“Monarch Butterfly Wing”
This uniquely hand detailed bead was made by melting, layering and detailing with tiny strands of glass in the flame of the torch. It was made with a touch of dichroic glass for magical sparkle. This bead is signed MWR discreetly in titanium pen by the core.
This bead measures approximately 14.5mm in diameter and 13mm wide. The bead hole measures approximately 4.4 mm in diameter.

I am a self representing artist, meaning I create all of the beads and jewelry I sell as well as do all the selling, shipping, listing and photographing involved in selling them myself. My beads are made in the flame of a torch by me, Mandy Ramsdell, in my studio in Maine. Each bead is unique and is a wearable work of art. My beads are properly annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability. My beads are made from glass rods that are mostly Italian murano glass. I sometimes use other specialty glass produced here in the US and Germany. I take pride in going the extra mile to make my beads extremely high quality as well as unique. The sterling silver cores are coated with a museum quality wax before they are put into the beads to prevent tarnish.
